Andy Parrott
Premier League Director of Operations and Strategy
Andy has a long-established history with the Premier League Charitable Fund.
In 2010, he became the charity's first employee, playing a key role in its formation after moving from the Football Foundation, where he had been responsible for the introduction and national expansion of the Premier League Kicks programme from 2006.
During his time at the PLCF, Andy led the introduction of Club Community Organisation (CCO) capability and project impact frameworks, along with leading the growth of flagship national programmes, most notably Premier League Kicks and Premier League Primary Stars.
In 2014, Andy moved to the Premier League, where he now serves as Director of Operations and Strategy in the Policy and Social Impact team. His role works across a range of areas, including policy, public affairs, fan engagement and operations, equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), sustainability, community initiatives and broader football investment.
A graduate of the Nationwide Building Society's Management Development Programme, Andy began his career in marketing and communications, working on high-profile sponsorship portfolios such as the Nationwide Football League (now EFL) and the home nations’ national teams.
He also worked in sport development, delivering on social inclusion football programmes in South London, collaborating with local authorities and professional football club community organisations.
Andy holds a first-class Sports Science degree from Loughborough University and a Masters in Management and Marketing. He also enjoyed a successful semi-professional football career, making over 500 non-league appearances and winning the FA Vase at White Hart Lane.
Beyond his professional roles, Andy remains actively involved in football at the grassroots level. He is the Premier League's representative on the National Football Trust Board and is a volunteer Director of Development at Motspur Park Community Football Club, where he has helped in establishing over 50 new boys', girls', and disability grassroots teams over the past decade.
Despite his extensive career in football, Andy considers his most challenging role to be coaching his youngest son’s Under-14s team!
Andy currently sits on the Premier League Charitable Fund’s Audit and Risk Committee.
