Two brilliant strikes from Xherdan Shaqiri ensured victory over Hull City, as Stoke City made it two wins in a row in the Premier League.
Shaqiri gave the visitors a 1-0 lead in the first half with a curling effort from outside the area.
Marko Arnautovic could have doubled the Potters’ advantage shortly afterwards but was denied by David Marshall in the Hull goal.
But Stoke did make it 2-0 up early in the second half thanks again to the impressive Shaqiri, the midfielder netting a fine free-kick from 22 yards after winning the set-piece himself.
Marshall made further saves from Arnautovic and Joe Allen, as Mark Hughes' side built on their Matchweek 8 victory over Sunderland by the same scoreline.
