Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League, ahead of other matches, thanks to Sergio Aguero’s double in a 2-1 victory at Burnley.
Aguero shook off injury concerns to start but Burnley took the lead on 14 minutes.
Dean Marney struck a low volley after a long kick from Paul Robinson, making his first PL appearance since May 2012 after Tom Heaton was ruled out.
Aguero prodded the ball in on 37 minutes after a scramble to level.
He added a second on 60 minutes from Fernandinho's pass after a mix-up in the home side’s defence.
Ashley Barnes had an overhead kick saved by Claudio Bravo for Burnley as Man City hung on to move two points clear of Chelsea before their late match against Tottenham Hotspur.
