Joe Nuttall's 89th-minute header secured a 1-0 win for Blackburn Rovers against Southampton at Staplewood Campus.
The 20-year-old striker's sixth goal of the campaign capped another impressive display.
It was Rovers' third successive win in Division 2 and leaves them joint top of the table, while they inflicted a second defeat of the season on the Saints.
Visiting Blackburn started well and would taken the lead earlier had it not been for the heroics of Jack Rose.
Callum Wright then headed wide for Rovers in the second half, but Nuttall made no mistake with less than a minute remaining.
