Harry Kane scored twice as Tottenham Hotspur overcame Huddersfield Town 2-0 at the John Smith's Stadium.
Kane gave Spurs the lead on 25 minutes, heading a Kieran Trippier cross into the bottom left corner.
The lead was doubled nine minutes later, Kane scoring from the penalty spot after Danny Rose had been fouled by Florent Hadergjonaj.
Laurent Depoitre almost halved the deficit before half-time but his left-footed volley cannoned off the underside of the bar.
Huddersfield Town substitute Isaac Mbenza had the best chance of the second half but was denied by a flying save from Paulo Gazzaniga.
The victory moves Spurs up to fourth with 15 points, whilst Huddersfield Town remain bottom on two.
