    Match summary

Matt Doherty scored the only goal as Wolves stretched their unbeaten Premier League run to six matches with a 1-0 win at Crystal Palace.

Doherty fired Raul Jimenez’s pass past goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey at the near post. The 56th-minute strike was his first Premier League goal.

Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio preserved his side’s lead with a superb double save in the 70th minute from Max Meyer and Jeffrey Schlupp.

Substitute Ivan Cavaleiro nearly doubled the lead in the 81st minute when his effort hit the bar.

Wolves move up to seventh with their fourth victory in five matches. Crystal Palace drop to 14th.
