Oliver Norwood scored from the penalty spot as Sheffield United salvaged a 1-1 draw with Watford at Bramall Lane.
John Fleck had the ball in the net early on but the Sheff Utd midfielder was offside when Chris Basham had crossed.
Against the run of play, Watford broke the deadlock on 27 minutes, Gerard Deulofeu slotting past Dean Henderson.
The Blades were awarded a spot-kick, which Norwood converted on 36 minutes after Will Hughes had fouled George Baldock.
Fleck drew a superb save from Ben Foster midway through the second half, while Deulofeu might have won it at the death only for his free-kick to curl a fraction wide with Henderson beaten.
Sheff Utd drop to sixth on 29 points and Watford move up a place to 19th on 13 points.
