Callum Wilson's second-half penalty helped Newcastle United come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with 10-man Fulham.
The visitors started brightly and Aleksandar Mitrovic had a low shot well saved by Karl Darlow in the opening minute.
Fulham continued to push on in the first half and their pressure paid off just before half-time, when Matt Ritchie turned Tosin Adarabioyo's header into his own net.
Newcastle were awarded a penalty when Joachim Andersen brought down Wilson and the Fulham defender was shown a red card for denial of a goalscoring opportunity after referee Graham Scott had reviewed the incident on the pitchside monitor.
Wilson converted the 64th-minute spot-kick for his eighth Premier League goal of the season.
Newcastle were unable to make their numerical superiority count as Fulham held out for the draw.
The Magpies move up to 12th place with 18 points, while Fulham rise out of the bottom three with 10.
