Brilliant goals from Timothy Castagne and James Maddison earned Leicester City a 2-1 victory over Brentford at King Power Stadium.
Castagne broke the deadlock in spectacular fashion, 20 minutes into his first appearance of 2022. The Belgian powerfully curled the ball into the top-right corner from the edge of the penalty area.
Brentford almost hit back immediately, but Mathias Jensen was denied by the legs of Kasper Schmeichel.
Leicester took advantage on 33 minutes as Maddison whipped a fantastic free-kick into the left corner of the net.
Brentford started the second half brightly, with Pontus Jansson and Bryan Mbeumo both forcing Schmeichel into fine reaction saves from close-range headers.
Yoane Wissa set up a grandstand finish with another special goal, as he fired in from outside the box, but Leicester held on to the victory that moves them up to 10th place and 36 points.
Brentford stay 15th on 30 points, eight above the relegation zone.
