Southampton returned to the top of Premier League 2 Division 2 after Jonathan Afolabi gave them a 1-0 win over Manchester United.
United started brightly at Leigh Sports Village but found themselves a goal down on 32 minutes when 19-year-old Afolabi controlled a pass from full-back Jake Vokins before turning and scoring into the bottom corner.
After the break, Man Utd dominated as they pushed for an equaliser but could not find a way past Southampton goalkeeper Jack Rose, who denied Di'Shon Bernard and Angel Gomes.
Southampton are top with 33 points, three clear of Wolverhampton Wanderers, while a third consecutive loss leaves Man Utd fifth on 25 points.
