With two Double Gameweeks on the horizon, Fantasy Premier League managers focusing solely on signing players with extra fixtures are missing out on those who could still deliver big points.

That is the view of FPL experts Sam and Lee Bonfield.

They warn against ignoring star players from in-form Liverpool, Chelsea and Leicester City, despite them being among the clubs with just five single Gameweek fixtures left.

"One of the big pitfalls of the Double Gameweek is overlooking players like Eden Hazard and Jamie Vardy, who don’t have a Double but who have the form and the fixtures to back up keeping them," says Sam on the FPL Show.

"It’s really important with teams like Liverpool that we don’t just get rid of them on the basis that they don’t have a double. I’m keeping hold of Sadio Mane and Andrew Robertson.

"You can’t get rid of them. They’re season keepers. The fixtures are great and their form is great."

Lee says such players also have good fixtures after the Double Gameweek.

"If you’re playing your Wildcard and getting rid of all your players because they haven’t got a Double, tread very carefully," he says.

"You will want them back for Huddersfield and Cardiff and going forward until the end of the season."
