Geoff Cameron is a doubt for Stoke City after sustaining a knee injury in last weekend's win at Hull City, while Phil Bardsley has been granted compassionate leave following a family bereavement.
Ibrahim Afellay has returned to light training but remains out of contention along with Glen Johnson (thigh), Jack Butland (foot) and Stephen Ireland (leg).
For Swansea City, Nathan Dyer remains sidelined after undergoing ankle surgery but Jefferson Montero (calf) has an outside chance of featuring.
“[Montero] has made great progress this week," Bob Bradley told Swanseacity.net. "I would expect he will return to full training within a few days. If we are lucky, maybe he will be involved at Stoke, but if not then very soon."
Did you know?
Stoke City have never lost at home to Swansea City in the Premier League (W3 D2).
Wilfried Bony scored 25 times in 54 league matches for Swansea. He also scored twice in two PL appearances against them for Manchester City.
Swansea are winless in their last eight PL encounters (D2 L6), their worst run since January 2014 (also eight). They have never gone longer than eight without a victory in the top flight.
Mark Hughes’ men could keep three successive clean sheets, having failed to keep any in their previous 17 Premier League matches.
What the managers say
Mark Hughes on Wilfried Bony: "Wilf is getting better; in every game he's having more of an impact. Up to this point he hasn't been able to do it (score) but maybe against his old team that's the game that's going to get him off and running."

Bob Bradley: "Stoke didn’t start the season well but they've found their form. Their front four have caused problems."
