The Scout's panel of experts discuss their go-to captains for 2019/20 Fantasy Premier League.
Harry Kane (TOT) £11.0m
The Tottenham Hotspur striker is one of the most reliable scorers in FPL.
Kane fired 20+ goals in four successive seasons but injury limited him to 28 appearances in 2018/19.
Even so, he still managed 17 goals and six assists for Spurs.
His average of 5.7 points per match was equal to the top-scoring forward in FPL, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.0m).
Early points
A big price drop of £1.5m has seen Kane emerge as the second most popular forward this term. He is already owned by 25.1 per cent.
Spurs' opening run of home matches can further raise his potential for huge points hauls.
Mauricio Pochettino's men host only one of last season's top 10 sides in their opening 10 fixtures at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Starting with a Gameweek 1 visit from Aston Villa, Kane can immediately announce himself as a key player for 2019/20.
What the experts say
Josh Landon (@hailcheaters): Does scoring one of the greatest pre-season goals you'll ever see mean that Kane's late-summer drought is finally over? His wonder goal from the halfway line against Juventus could kick-start his return from injury. Priced at a generous £11.0m, Kane hopes to capitalise against an Aston Villa side who conceded 61 goals last season, the most in the top half of the Championship. He is a hard GW1 captain to pass up.

FPL General (@FPLGeneral): The England international should be fresh following the summer break. Apart from Manchester City in Gameweek 2, Spurs have excellent early-season fixtures. Kane is a proven FPL asset who we can trust with the armband.
Chuck Booth (@ChuckBoothSport): With his first free summer in what seems like forever, I'm backing Kane's August woes to subside this season. Adding Tanguy Ndombele (£6.0m) into the fold will allow Spurs to push forward and Kane's goals will come in bunches.
Holly Shand (@FFCommunity_): The temptation to captain Kane in his first home game against Aston Villa is great. He's still not scored in the new stadium and will be looking to return with a bang. The home fixtures for the foreseeable look great where captaincy is concerned.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily): When fit last year he averaged just under 6.0 points per match, so he assured his owners returns when he played. As a result, Kane makes a great captain pick.
Paul Gee (@FplPaulGee): Kane is still the main man at Spurs and with penalty duties. If fit, he shouldn't be underestimated as he regularly scores between 25-30 goals. With a new price tag of £11.0m, he is a bargain!
Lee Bonfield (@FPL Family): A price-drop this year means the Spurs man will be very popular, particularly with a number of excellent looking home fixtures in the first few Gameweeks. If he can look after that ankle injury, Kane will be on for a big season.
