Ahead of their home match with AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, Sean Dyche believes that his Burnley squad are better equipped to stay in the Premier League than they were two seasons ago.
Dyche steered Burnley to the Premier League for the 2014/15 campaign but they were unable avoid relegation. This time the manager believes greater depth will serve them well.
“We had some quality two years ago but with one or two injuries we diluted quickly,” he said. “Whereas now we have a healthy squad in numbers and quality.”
