Tom Heaton (AVL) AVL 1-0 NOR
Heaton was in inspired form, making numerous saves to earn a clean sheet against a Norwich City team who dominated at Villa Park.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (LIV) LEI 0-4 LIV
Alexander-Arnold has emerged as one of the best playmakers in the league and the right-back was sensational against Leicester, with a great goal and two assists. The Liverpool academy graduate just keeps getting better.
Virgil van Dijk (LIV) LEI 0-4 LIV
Van Dijk kept Jamie Vardy quiet throughout the match. The Premier League's top scorer barely had a sniff, with the towering Dutchman in his finest form.
Jack Stephens (SOU) CHE 0-2 SOU
Man of the Match in a fantastic team display at Stamford Bridge, Stephens had the better of Tammy Abraham and Co. He has been a key figure in Southampton's back-to-back wins.
Andrew Robertson (LIV) LEI 0-4 LIV
As if keeping Alexander-Arnold at bay on one side wasn't tough enough, Liverpool's left-back put in another excellent display as the Premier League leaders kept a third clean sheet in a row.
Stuart Armstrong (SOU) CHE 0-2 SOU
Armstrong produced a moment of brilliance to set up Nathan Redmond's goal and was a creative presence in attacking midfield. His best performance in a Southampton shirt.
Oliver Norwood (SHU) SHU 1-1 WAT
Norwood's first Premier League goal, the equaliser against Watford, was reward for a fine display in the centre of Sheffield United's midfield. An unsung hero in Chris Wilder's side.
Jack Grealish (AVL) AVL 1-0 NOR
Grealish continued his stellar form this season with a skilful assist for match-winner Conor Hourihane. He is the star in this Villa team and is surely making a case to be in Gareth Southgate's England squad.
Adama Traore (WOL) WOL 3-2 MCI
Traore played a vital role in Wolves' dramatic comeback, firing a powerful shot into the bottom corner before outmuscling Benjamin Mendy to provide an assist for team-mate Raul Jimenez.
Roberto Firmino (LIV) LEI 0-4 LIV
Firmino's touch and finish for his second goal at King Power Stadium was out of this world. He led the line magnificently and deserved his two goals for the Premier League leaders.
Anthony Martial (MUN) MUN 4-1 NEW
Martial scored twice and was unlucky not to get a hat-trick, having hit the inside of the post. It was an impressive display from the Frenchman and his understanding with Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood is exciting for Man Utd fans.
Manager: Jurgen Klopp (LIV)
Klopp masterminded an outstanding performance by a Liverpool team who will be very difficult to stop this season. You wouldn't have thought it was second against first given the way the Reds won so commandingly.
