The Scout's panel of experts give their verdict on the Scout Selection ahead of the Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 13 deadline of 16:30 GMT on Tuesday 15 December.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Kevin De Bruyne (£11.9m) and Benjamin Mendy (£5.9m) look like excellent options but the Pep Guardiola roulette is always a niggling doubt.

Double West Ham United looks like a good prospect but the Hammers will now be without their home fans which we were starting to see having a big impact. I especially like the differential Jarrod Bowen (£6.4m) pick on the back of returns in two of his last three matches.

Patrick Bamford (£6.3m) returned at home in Gameweek 12 for the first time since Gameweek 2. It will be interesting to see if he is able to repeat that in midweek.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

As a Bowen owner, I'm happy to see him in. Ademola Lookman (£5.0m) also looks good but I can't argue against the other midfielders selected.

Neal Thurman (@nealjthurman)

I'm a bigger believer in Aston Villa's defence against bottom-half opposition than I am West Ham's, so I'd rather have Matty Cash (£5.0m) or Tyrone Mings (£5.3m) over Vladimir Coufal (£4.6m).

Ben McNair (@drbenmcnair)

I wouldn't normally support the inclusion of Harry Maguire (£5.4m) in the Scout Selection but Sheffield United's attack was so ineffective at Southampton that I am going to make an exception this week.

Chuck Booth (@ChuckBoothSport)

Coufal took a few free-kicks last week and could rival Aaron Cresswell (£5.2m) moving forward if that continues.

The directness of Marcus Rashford (£9.4m) should fare well at Sheff Utd.

Nick (@WGTA_Nick)

Triple Manchester United is a maverick move from The Scout and it could pay dividends this week.

No Liverpool or Tottenham Hotspur players is not a surprise but Son Heung-min (£9.6m), Harry Kane (£10.9m) and Mohamed Salah (£12.3m) have proved themselves to be fixture-proof.

Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12

Not surprisingly, the selection is heavy on the Manchester teams. I think Bamford will finally get a goal or two against a not fully fit Newcastle United side.

Utkarsh Dalmia (@zophar666)

Great set of picks this week with both Manchester sides having favourable fixtures. Bowen is a great pick - he’s the ideal replacement for Diogo Jota (£6.9m) in the same price bracket.

Paul Gee (@FPLPaulGee)

The Mendy pick is the standout for me. He seems set to start and can combine attacking returns with a likely clean sheet.

Remember the Gameweek 13 deadline is at 16:30 GMT on Tuesday 15 December.
