The Scout's panel of experts give their verdict on who managers should captain ahead of the Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 28 deadline of 18:30 GMT on Friday 12 March.

I'm going with Harry Kane (£11.3m). He has 11 goals and two assists in 12 north London derbies, plus with Gareth Bale (£9.4m) and Son Heung-min (£9.6m) in form, the Tottenham Hotspur attack is riding the crest of a wave, and FPL points should continue as a result.
Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)
At the moment I have got my armband on the in-form Kane, who loves the north London derby. But I could be tempted by Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) at Wolverhampton Wanderers or Kai Havertz (£8.2m) against Leeds United by the time the deadline arrives.

Bruno Fernandes (£11.5m) has a strong home fixture and impressive home form, with three goals and three assists in his last three home matches.
Fernandes is the most-owned and highest-scoring FPL player, while his 7.4 points per match is also a league-leading average.

It's a tricky week for captaincy with no standout candidate. Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m) against Fulham appeals after his haul against Southampton.
Fernandes is also a good shout against West Ham United, as is Kane at Arsenal. I'm going with the Portuguese.
Paul Gee (@FPLPaulGee)
Salah could be a great differential – I can't believe I'm calling Salah a differential! Kane has a great record against Arsenal.

In one week Mason Mount (£7.0m) has gone from not on my radar to my captain.
Rested against Everton, he looks full of goal and assist potential given Leeds' open style and set-piece weakness.
