GW32 Captains: Kane and Son set to dominate

The Scout's panel of experts give their verdicts on who managers should captain ahead of the Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 32 deadline of 18:30 BST on Friday 16 April.

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

In a "normal" Gameweek there'd be a decent debate this week, with plenty of good options including Jesse Lingard (£6.5m), Bruno Fernandes (£11.6m) and possibly even Kelechi Iheanacho (£6.0m).

But the Double Gameweek of course influences our thinking and you have to go with one of the Spurs boys. For me, it'll be Harry Kane (£11.7m).

Geoff Dance (@GeoffreyDance)

This week Kane, Son Heung-min (£9.4m) and Fernandes - the three most-owned players in the game - are the three best captaincy candidates.

They are among the four highest-scoring players in Fantasy and it's Kane, who is tied for first place for goals and leads the way for assists, who is my captain for Spurs' Double Gameweek 32.

Paul Gee (@FPLPaulGee)

The captain has got to be Kane with two fixtures. Although he blanked against Manchester United last weekend, he is still a class above every other striker in the league. However, there are a lot of big-name players who also have great fixtures, such as Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) and Fernandes.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

When there is a Double Gameweek I always look to captain one of those players, especially when Kane is involved. Spurs need a good week to bounce back from some very disappointing results ahead of the EFL Cup final.

Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)

Double Gameweek. Kane going for the Golden Boot. It's a no-brainer for the captaincy.

Utkarsh Dalmia (@zophar666)

With Spurs' Double Gameweek, it's hard to look beyond Kane. Son is a decent alternative if you're looking to differentiate.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

It will be Kane or Son for me. I think most will captain Kane so I'm tempted to Triple Captain Son as a way to make up ground.

Nick (@WGTA_Nick)

I still have the Triple Captain chip, and the Double Gameweek feels like the perfect time to use it. It will be going on Kane
