When he was England manager, Glenn Hoddle worked with a number of the 23 players who have now been nominated for a place in the Premier League Hall of Fame alongside inaugural inductees Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer.
Two names stand out for him: Paul Scholes and Steven Gerrard. And fans can have their say by voting for their six players who should enter the Hall of Fame this year before 18:00 BST on Sunday 9 May.
"People ask me that, 'Who's the best player you've worked with?'," says Hoddle.
"Scholes, always. Wonderful player, had a little bit of everything actually, but excelled in getting in the box and creativity."
Although Gerrard did not win the PL title, as Scholes did on 11 occasions with Manchester United, Hoddle feels the former Liverpool captain's influence is worthy of recognition too.

"I don't think you can have a Hall of Fame without Steven Gerrard," adds Hoddle.
"Even though he didn't win the league, what he did for Liverpool at that time was quite incredible.
"Those two players, you just would walk a million miles to go and watch them play. I really would."
