The captaincy credentials of Bruno Fernandes (£11.5m) have recently dipped in Fantasy Premier League, with the Manchester United playmaker failing to score in his last five matches.

Given he has averaged just three points per appearance over that period, some FPL managers may feel it is a risk to give him the armband for his Triple Gameweek 35, overlooking players who are in better form and have two fixtures of their own.
But, in the latest FPL Show, expert Sam Bonfield of @FPLFamily says: “It’s a bigger risk not to.
“He’s the most highly-owned player in the game. His effective ownership will be huge because anyone who’s got a Triple Captain left is going to play it this week. Anybody who’s Free-Hitting is bringing him in this week.
“I was all about a differential captain this week. Then the Triple got announced and now it’s all aboard the Bruno train.”
Feeling brave?
For those who remain unconvinced by Fernandes and are hoping to make up ground in mini-leagues with an alternative choice, Sam feels there is a standout pick.
“[Kelechi] Iheanacho, 100 per cent,” she says. “He was going to be my captain this week, all day long, until the Triple [was announced].”
The other half of the FPL Family, Lee Bonfield, suggests a forward who visits West Ham United and Aston Villa in Gameweek 35.
“I think I’d go for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, given how well he’s been doing in away games in particular," he says.
Remember, the Gameweek 35 deadline is today at 18:30 BST.
