Brentford have completed the signing of goalkeeper Alvaro Fernandez from SD Huesca, subject to international clearance.
Fernandez has agreed a one-year loan deal with Brentford having an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.
The 23-year-old is a Spain international, who represented his country at the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer.

"Alvaro is a player with huge potential, and we are very pleased that he has come in to our squad and our goalkeeper unit," head coach Thomas Frank told the club's official website. "He will come here and compete every day with David Raya and Patrik Gunnarsson.
"This is a signing that make us stronger as a group and will help push us to a higher level."
Fernandez started his career at Spanish side CA Osasuna before moving to Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in 2017.
The goalkeeper spent the 2018/19 season on loan with Extremadura UD in the Spanish second tier before leaving Monaco permanently to join Huesca.

He helped Huesca win promotion to the top flight in his first season and played 22 LaLiga matches last season.
Fernandez is Brentford's 11th signing of the summer transfer window and joins ahead of the Bees' first away match in the Premier League against Crystal Palace.
