The all-round potential of Reece James (£6.0m) and Antonio Rudiger (£5.9m) rewarded managers yet again in Gameweek 12 of Fantasy Premier League.

James claimed an assist and three bonus points to go along with his clean sheet in Chelsea’s 3-0 win at Leicester City.

The right wing-back has 53 points over the last four Gameweeks, thanks to three goals, two assists and three clean sheets.

James is now the top value player in Fantasy, returning 12.5 points per million (ppm) spent.

Rudiger, meanwhile, is second-best for value on 11.4ppm, after scoring and earning 14 points against the Foxes.

The Blues' centre-back has two goals, an assist and seven clean sheets this term, totalling 67 points.

Elsewhere in defence, Tyrone Mings (£4.9m) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.8m) are currently the joint-top scorers in the Gameweek on 15 points.

Mings helped Steven Gerrard to victory in his first match in charge of Aston Villa, scoring in a 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.

Alexander-Arnold moved into second place in the overall standings after supplying two assists in Liverpool’s 4-0 home win over Arsenal.

The right-back earned 15 points against the Gunners, his fifth double-figure score in 10 outings this term.

He is the most-bought player for Gameweek 13, earning 108,000 new owners for the Reds’ home meeting with Southampton.

Alexander-Arnold’s team-mate Sadio Mane (£11.9m) and Brentford’s Sergi Canos (£5.5m) were the only two midfielders to claim double-figure returns on Saturday.

Mane’s goal and assist against Arsenal helped him to his season-best haul of 12 points.

The Senegalese is among the most consistent players in 2021/22 Fantasy, blanking in just two of his last 10 starts.

Canos supplied two assists in a 3-3 draw at Newcastle United to pick up 10 points.

Newcastle’s Allan Saint-Maximin (£6.8m) also proved a big success in Eddie Howe’s first match in charge, earning 10 points thanks to a goal and an assist.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke (£6.3m) and Watford’s Emmanuel Dennis (£5.2m) continued their improving form up front.

Benteke scored twice in a 3-3 draw at Burnley to pick up 12 points. All four of his goals this season have come in the last five Gameweeks.

Dennis scored once and provided two assists in the Hornets’ 4-1 victory over Manchester United, claiming a bumper 14-point haul.

The Nigerian has produced 30 points in four matches under new head coach, Claudio Ranieri.

Indeed, Dennis is the top value forward in Fantasy, returning 10.4ppm.
