Southampton full-back Tino Livramento, who made the switch from Chelsea last summer, is looking to become only the fourth Saints player to make 25 Premier League appearances in a season as a teenager, after Matt Oakley (28 in 1996/97), Luke Shaw (25 in 2012/13 and 35 in 2013/14) and James Ward-Prowse (34 in 2013/14). No Chelsea player has ever played 25 times as a teenager in a Premier League season.

Chelsea suffered a 4-1 home defeat against Brentford in their last Premier League match but have never lost consecutive top-flight matches under Thomas Tuchel. Indeed, the German has managed the most Premier League matches without losing consecutive contests in the history of the competition (48).

Ward-Prowse scored and was sent off in the reverse fixture against Chelsea in October. Rickie Lambert was the last Southampton player to score home and away against the Blues in a single league season, in 2012/13.

Chelsea have lost just one of their 13 Premier League matches at St Mary’s Stadium against Southampton (W9 D3) and are unbeaten in their last eight visits since a 2-1 loss in March 2013.
