The 456,000+ Fantasy Premier League managers who chose Kevin De Bruyne (£11.9m) as their captain over Mohamed Salah (£13.3m) were hugely rewarded as the Manchester City midfielder smashed the Liverpool's star's score in Double Gameweek 36.

Salah | 3,341 | 3 |

De Bruyne | 456 | 30 |
Salah blanked in Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur before coming on as a second-half substitute in the 2-1 victory at Aston Villa, delivering only three points.
De Bruyne then piled on the agony by racking up 10 times that score.
Having provided an assist in Sunday's 5-0 victory over Newcastle United, the Belgian struck four goals and picked up three bonus points in Wednesday's 5-1 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The contrast was even more extreme for the 369,000+ managers who used their Triple Captain chip, with Salah and De Bruyne being the most-popular choices.
The 55,000+ who opted for the Man City star were left in dreamland as their man earned them 90 points by himself, while Salah didn't even make it into double-figures with the chip.

De Bruyne's incredible haul has also shaken up the top 100, with 11 members of that elite group giving him the armband.
Four managers in the leading pack rolled the dice with differential picks in a bid to claim ultimate glory.
Teemu Pukki (£6.1m), Riyad Mahrez (£8.6m), Bukayo Saka (£6.7m) and Mason Mount (£7.7m) were each captained by one of the top 100 managers.

Dan Sharples was the only one of those to get any joy as Mount produced a goal and an assist in Wednesday's 3-0 win over Leeds United, earning 26 points with the armband.
But even then, De Bruyne's haul meant Dan dropped from eighth to 35th.
