From John Lundstram in 2019/20 to Jarrod Bowen (£8.5m) last season, picking the right bargain players can make a big difference to your Fantasy Premier League campaign.
This could be more true than ever in 2022/23 because of the temptation to load up on premium players such as Mohamed Salah (£13.0m), Son Heung-min (£12.0m), Kevin De Bruyne (£12.0m), Harry Kane (£11.5m) and Erling Haaland (both £11.5m).
With that in mind, the FPL experts have revealed their favourite budget enablers to help you afford as many big-hitters as possible.
"At £5.5m, [Eberechi] Eze and [Michael] Olise could be really good value because since [Patrick] Vieira has taken over, they look like they’re an exciting team going forward," Gianni Buttice says.
"I’m expecting goals in that Crystal Palace team and Olise, in particular, from the wide-right spot will create loads of chances."
Gianni's fellow expert Holly Shand is tipping Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli (£6.0m) to shine over the opening Gameweeks.
"We saw him solidify his place in the starting line-up for Arsenal at the back end of last season, taking penalties as well over [Bukayo] Saka.
"With Arsenal’s opening fixtures, he could be worth a punt for those opening few Gameweeks."
