Darwin Nunez (£8.8m) will be looking to score for a third consecutive match when Liverpool visit Nottingham Forest in Matchweek 13.

In the last three Gameweeks, the Liverpool forward has also recorded a team-leading 12 shots, nine shots in the box and five shots on target.

Our panel of Fantasy Premier League experts have their say on why Nunez could be the player to outscore Manchester City's prolific Erling Haaland (£12.1m) this week.

What the experts say
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Without any Liverpool bias whatsoever (honest), I'll go for Darwin Nunez (£8.8m). He's a 'shoot-on-sight' kind of striker, which we love in FPL, and Nottingham Forest's underlying stats suggest they will give up plenty of chances when Liverpool roll up to the City Ground.

Utkarsh Dalmia (@zophar666)

Forest were lucky not to concede a hatful of goals at Brighton & Hove Albion in Gameweek 12. I expect Liverpool to put them to the sword with Nunez and Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) both going big.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

It's hard to look past Manchester City at home, even when their opponent is good defensively. Kevin De Bruyne (£12.3m) only has one goal so far this season, but I think he will add to that along with another assist.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Having not played a fixture in midweek, I suspect that Erling Haaland (£12.1m) will be back to goalscoring ways in Gameweek 13 and will be the top points scorer this week.

Bukayo Saka (£7.9m) will be up there too. He has returned in six of his last seven league matches. With 63 points, he is Arsenal’s top-scoring FPL asset. He is yellow flagged in the game though, so that is something for FPL managers to watch.

Paul Gee (@FPLPaulGee)

Haaland is going to score big in a free-scoring Manchester City team. I also think Nunez will be a close second against a struggling Forest side.

Holly Shand (@HollyShand)

Mohamed Salah has the capability to be the highest scorer this week when he faces Forest. That is if Jurgen Klopp plays him as the central striker.

Nick (@WGTA_Nick)

Haaland and Man City will be well rested ahead of their match with Brighton in Gameweek 13. I can see a big return for him this week.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

With a midweek rest many will look to the Man City attack for goals galore against Brighton. However, I'm backing Nunez to go big against a Forest team that concede a huge amount of chances.
