Chelsea have announced they have reached a pre-agreement with Norwegian side Molde for the signing of striker David Datro Fofana.
Fofana will become Graham Potter's first signing since becoming the Chelsea's head coach in September.

"The 20-year-old striker will join the Blues on 1 January 2023. We look forward to welcoming David to the club!"
Fofana has impressed this season, scoring 15 goals in 24 league matches, as well as providing five assists. He has also represented Ivory Coast twice.
His honours include winning the Norwegian league title in 2022 and the cup in 2021.

If Chelsea complete Fofana's registration by midday on 4 January, his debut could come at home to Manchester City the next day.
