Players from Aston Villa have not been much on the radar of Fantasy Premier League managers of late, but that could be about to change, according to FPL expert Sam Bonfield, thanks to an upcoming run of kind fixtures.
"Someone like Douglas Luiz or Emi Buendia look like really nice, cheap options," says Bonfield of the two midfielders priced at £4.8m and £5.7m respectively on the latest FPL Pod.
Bonfield adds that even though Villa are set to face Manchester City and Arsenal in Gameweeks 24 and 25, from GW25 their run of six matches from which four are rated as only two in the Fixture Difficulty Ratings means Villa assets are worthy of consideration.
"You can bench them for the two difficult games against City and Arsenal and have them back for a really nice run of fixtures," she says.
