A Premier League London derby will be taking place in Australia this summer as Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have both announced they will play each other on Tuesday 18 July in Perth as part of their pre-season tours.
The London rivals will face each other at the Optus Stadium, a kick-off time will be announced in due course.

Spurs have also said that they will be playing in two additional "Asian cities" this summer, with details to be announced later on. The match with Spurs will be West Ham's second in Perth, with the first on Saturday, 15 July, against Perth Glory at the same stadium.

Spurs ambassador Ledley King is in Perth to announce the match alongside Western Australia Government representatives and West Ham's ambassador Carlton Cole.
“We’re really excited to be heading to Australia this summer,” Cole said.
“As well as looking forward to playing two exciting pre-season fixtures in Perth, we also have a great opportunity to visit a wonderful country, one that I know loves its sport and is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about football.
“We’re looking forward to meeting our incredible supporters from Down Under and hope that our fans from home and around the world can join them for a festival of football this summer in Western Australia."

The 2023/24 Premier League season is due to kick off on Saturday 12 August.
