The Premier League fixture between Arsenal and Chelsea at Emirates Stadium, scheduled to take place on Saturday 29 April at 17:30 BST, will now take place on Tuesday 2 May at 20:00 BST.
Following a Safety Advisory Group meeting on February 6th, the Metropolitan Police did not indicate that they would withdraw from policing the fixture at the scheduled 1730 kick-off time.
However, the Metropolitan Police has now revised its position regarding the kick-off time and requested a further SAG meeting which determined the match had to be re-scheduled.
