Seventeen-year-old Daniel Butterworth scored one goal and made the other as Blackburn Rovers beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 in Division 2.
Butterworth's cross set up Lewis Mansell for the opener just past the half-hour and he scored the second in the 75th minute at the Leyland County Ground.
The win moved Rovers up to seventh, six points off the play-off places, while the Seagulls dropped to ninth.
