Roberto Pereyra is moving his injury recovery programme from Spain to Italy, with Watford confirming the 26-year-old is approaching a "perfect rehabilitation" from a knee meniscus tear.
"His feelings are good," the club's medical director, Luca Gatteschi, confirmed in an exclusive interview detailing when the midfielder hopes to be back.
"It’s important the player knows what we are doing and that we have good communication. Our goal is to have a perfect rehabilitation of Pereyra’s knee."

Gatteschi also revealed that Pereyra could have been back in action a month after he sustained the injury at Manchester City on 14 December - an option the Hornets turned down.
