A year on from AFC Bournemouth's record-equalling 9-0 defeat at Anfield, the Cherries travel to Liverpool, but new head coach Andoni Iraola is hopeful of avoiding a repeat.

“It was one year ago and that is a lot of time,” said Iraola. “Obviously they know it will always be tough against Liverpool at Anfield, but it is a good chance for us to show how far away we are from them.
“We have to have a very resilient collective attitude and to suffer those minutes when they are pushing, taking corners and crosses. We will have our moments where we can damage them.”
Bournemouth started their Premier League campaign with a 1-1 home draw against West Ham United.
Strengthening midfield?
“I think overall we are really happy with the squad,” said Iraola. “The area where we are looking forward to signing someone is the midfield, because right now, with a couple of injuries we also have, we may be shorter there.
“But apart from that, I think we are good. There is still a long time until the market closes, so probably there can be some changes, some players leaving, and we have to replace them.”
Iraola did not confirm or deny media reports that the Cherries are looking to sign Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams.
“I think it’s a player that right now is not our player," said Iraola. “So we have to wait. I think that you know the club is working towards signing someone in the midfield, but we have to wait until everything is complete.
“He’s a really good player. He has performed in the Champions League and has national team experience. But I don’t want to go too far because, right now, it’s not our player.”
Injury news
Iraola also provided an injury update on Lloyd Kelly, Dango Ouattara, and Lewis Cook ahead of their Anfield encounter.
“I think on the whole, we’re the same on the injury front,” he said. “The only one to recover from the weekend is Kelly, he’s trained with us in the last three or four sessions and will be available.
“The rest of the team is the same. Ouattara will be more weeks, he was still in a boot, so I won’t be expecting him back soon.
“Cook we’ll look at on a more week-to-week basis, he hasn’t been training so won’t be ready for tomorrow.
“Marcos Senesi is training well; he came off with cramp as it was the first game of the season. And the same happened with Max Aarons so it’s quite normal, they’re not injured.”
