Martial Godo has been named the PL2 Player of the Month for August 2023, topping an eight-man shortlist selected by the Premier League's Football Development Panel.
The English forward claims the award after scoring five goals and picking up one assist for Fulham, who won all three of their matches in the opening month of the season.
The 20-year-old showed his quality in the very first match as he struck a brace against Wolverhampton Wanderers. He converted a penalty before going on to score a 96th-minute winner in a 3-2 victory.
Godo's impressive start to the campaign has led to a season-long loan with League One side Wigan Athletic.
The attacker appeared for Fulham in the Premier League Summer Series in the USA, coming off the bench in the defeat to Aston Villa.
Godo agreed a new two-year deal with Fulham at the start of August, with a club option for a further year.
