Arteta, who spent three-and-a-half years as assistant coach at City before taking charge of Arsenal, will be hoping for a first Premier League win over his mentor.
The Arsenal boss has never beaten Guardiola in the Premier League, the only team in the competition he has failed to get the better of as a manager, with City victorious in all seven top-flight meetings between the pair.

Across all competitions the two have faced each other 10 times, with Arteta emerging victorious in the most recent meeting in August to lift the FA Community Shield and will aim to claim three points for the first time that will send his team above the leaders heading into the international break.
Here we look at all 10 head-to-heads.
