Southampton v Hull City

Eldin Jakupovic saved a late penalty as Hull City secured a goalless draw at Southampton and relegated Sunderland.

The defences were on top for the most of the match but, in the 90th minute, Southampton were awarded a spot-kick after Maya Yoshida was fouled.

Tadic stepped up but Jakupovic dived low to his left to save.

Oumar Niasse then missed a chance to grab all three points for Hull at the other end.

The draw takes Hull three points clear of Swansea City in the relegation zone and condemned bottom side Sunderland to the drop.

Southampton remain ninth in the table.
