October's Premier League award winners

The winners of October's monthly Premier League awards have been announced on Friday.

EA SPORTS Player of Month

Mohamed Salah has won the award for a fifth time, moving alongside Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie. He now has more Player of the Month awards than any other active Premier League player.

Only Cristiano Ronaldo, Steven Gerrard, Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero have won the award on more occasions. More details

Barclays Manager of the Month

Ange Postecoglou has made history after winning the Barclays Manager of the Month award for the third time in a row, with Tottenham Hotspur's head coach adding the October prize to those he received for August and September.

Postecoglou becomes the first boss ever to win the first three Manager of the Month awards available to him, and the first to claim the first three awards from the start of any Premier League season. More details

Budweiser Goal of the Month

Saman Ghoddos's stunning half-volley in Brentford's 3-0 win over Burnley has been voted the best of October.

The 30-year-old is only the second Brentford player to win the award, and the second Iranian after Alireza Jahanbakhsh achieved the feat for Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2020. More details

Castrol Save of the Month

West Ham United's Alphonse Areola has won his first Castrol Save of the Month award after his superb stop from Aston Villa's Douglas Luiz.

He is both the first Frenchman and the first West Ham goalkeeper to win the honour. More details

PL2 Player of the Month

Tottenham Hotspur's Jamie Donley has been named the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for October 2023.

Across his two PL2 matches during October the Spurs forward claimed two goals and one assist, which included a 74th-minute equaliser to inspire a 4-2 comeback win over Chelsea. More details
