Ahead of a vital trip to Southampton, Hull City’s need for goals can make Oumar Niasse (£5.6m) an effective Gameweek 35 Fantasy Premier League differential.

The on-loan forward was facing a three-match suspension after his red card against Watford last Saturday, but with that ban overturned on appeal, Niasse can be a pivotal figure for the Tigers and FPL managers alike.

In his first match under head coach Marco Silva, the Senegal international emerged from the bench to net twice in a 2-1 home win over Swansea City in Gameweek 28, earning 12 FPL points.

That double quickly established Niasse as a regular, since being named in five successive starting line-ups when available.

Niasse is second only to team-mate Kamil Grosicki (£5.5m) for both shots (10 to 14) and shots inside the box (nine to 10) under Silva.

However, Niasse has played 398 minutes to Grosicki’s 518 minutes over that period and while the latter has yet to score, Niasse has found the net three times –more than any team-mate in Silva's reign.

That eye for goal could be key as Hull take on a Southampton defence that has conceded seven over their last two Gameweeks.

The Tigers have only failed to score in one Premier League match since Silva took charge – a 4-0 loss at Everton in Gameweek 29 - with on-loan Niasse unavailable to feature against his parent club.

With a home encounter against Sunderland and trip to Crystal Palace to follow over the next three Gameweeks, the 0.5%-owned Niasse has the platform to fire the Tigers to safety and emerge as a value differential for FPL frontlines.
