Liverpool led twice, but needed goals from Wataru Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the 87th and 88th minute to secure the three points as they kept in touch with Premier League leaders Arsenal.
"Everybody could see the boys wanted it more and because we were a bit lucky today, we got it," Klopp said in his post-match press conference.
"Outstanding experience I would say, everybody who was here I don't think anybody would have thought before the game Liverpool v Fulham would be a game you will not forget in your life."
The manner of Liverpool's victory was not only impressive because of the comeback, but also the goals they scored.
Alexis Mac Allister scored a stunning half-volley from nearly 30 yards out, Alexander-Arnold produced a fine free-kick to open the scoring, and Endo showed excellent composure to curl in from the edge of the box.
And Klopp said he could not remember a match with that many outstanding strikes.
"I never saw a game with that many worldies to be honest. Trent's free-kick was unbelievable, all of them [were] pretty special."
Klopp also singled out Alexander-Arnold and spoke about his progression from the academy to one of the best in his position in world football, as well as his importance to the time as a leader.
"I'm not sure I have to say anything [more] about [Alexander-Arnold]. Nobody is in doubt how highly I think about Trent. He plays here since I'm here pretty much – longer, of course, but with the first team pretty much since I'm here. The development is crazy.
"Today he was a real leader on the pitch – that's probably the biggest improvement, if you want."
