The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Gameweek 17.
What the experts say
Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)
Despite a lack of goals recently, if Erling Haaland (£14.0m) is out, I'll captain Julian Alvarez (£6.9m).
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
Liverpool's home form has been superb so far this season and there are too many injuries in that Manchester United backline to keep the Egyptian King and his team-mates out. Mohamed Salah (£13.2m) captain for me.

Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)
I am currently captaining Salah as Liverpool play a United team without Bruno Fernandes (£8.3m) and with Harry Maguire (£4.3m) and Luke Shaw (£5.2m) injury doubts. United are not in a good moment and at Anfield, the writing is on the wall. I might get tempted by Haaland if he's declared fit by Pep Guardiola.
Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)
Man Utd have Fernandes suspended along with injuries in defence, so with Salah fully rested on Thursday, he's the best captaincy pick. If you're looking to go different, Son Heung-min (£9.7m) is a great alternative.
Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)
Salah loves to play against Man Utd in the Premier League and has averaged 17.5 points per match against them in the last four meetings, including two 20+ returns. When we also consider the defensive injuries and lack of form at United, it's hard to ignore Salah for the armband.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
Salah has returned 12 goals in 12 matches against Man Utd; they are the team that he enjoys playing against most. He has also returned in every home game so far this season. I'll be handing him the armband. If you want a differential captain, Son at Nottingham Forest looks great on the back of 17 points in Gameweek 16.
