David Brooks scored one goal and made two others as AFC Bournemouth booked their place in the FA Cup fifth-round draw with a thumping 5-0 victory against Swansea City at Vitality Stadium.

Adoni Iraola made five changes to the team beaten by Liverpool on Sunday, while Antoine Semenyo returned from AFCON duty with Ghana to take his place on a substitutes' bench that also included fit-again left-back Milos Kerkez

Bournemouth wasted no time in taking control of the tie with Brooks setting up first Lloyd Kelly and then Alex Scott to score in the opening 10 minutes as the Cherries raced into a 2-0 lead.

A low finish by Luis Sinisterra - the Cherries' third goal in eight minutes - was followed by a fourth from Brooks on 34 minutes with a sweet left-foot shot.

Solanke then hammered home Bournemouth's fifth moments before half-time with his 14th goal in all competitions this season. His celebration was poignant, paying tribute to team-mate Jaidon Anthony's mum Donna, who passed away last week.

Iraola was forced to make a change 12 minutes after half-time when James Hill appeared to sustain an injury, but Bournemouth were rarely troubled as they comfortably played out the second half.

The Cherries now take their place in the FA Cup fifth-round draw, which will be held on Sunday 28 January at around 14:10 GMT.

Bournemouth are next in Premier League action on Thursday 1 February when they face West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Friday night action

The FA Cup fourth round continues on Friday night with five Premier League sides looking to join Bournemouth in the hat for Sunday's draw.

Nottingham Forest visit Bristol City, who knocked out West Ham in the previous round. Forest have progressed from all four of their previous FA Cup ties against City, most recently in the fifth round in 1991/92.

Two all-Premier League ties also take place as EFL Cup finalists Chelsea host Aston Villa, while Tottenham Hotspur entertain FA Cup holders Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
