The Premier League’s "More than a game" campaign is showcasing how its wide-ranging investment into all levels of football enables people connected to clubs to have a positive impact on their local communities and it was made visible to millions of football fans this weekend at matches.
The More than a game branding was seen on the ball plinths and handshake boards ahead of the 10 matches, as well as on the LED perimeter advertising boards.
Clubs across the Premier League are naming a Community Captain, somebody at the heart of their Premier League-funded programmes who deserves recognition for their commitment and contribution to the game and society. And some clubs are showcasing their Community Captains at their home matches.
Before Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers kicked off, the Spurs Community Captain Korey Eristhee was honoured, with a presentation from Spurs legend Ledley King.

In the space of 4 years, Korey has progressed from participant on @SpursFoundation’s Spurred 2 Coach programme to full-time coach. Amazing work 👏 pic.twitter.com/SU973tJtjL
Korey, 24, grew up on a nearby Hackney council estate and was part of Barnet FC’s academy set-up from the ages of 15-18. But things didn’t go to plan and, in the space of a month, Korey went from playing three or four times a week to working in a 9-5 office job.
Joining the Spurs Foundation in early 2020, Korey undertook six weeks of training to get an FA Level 1 coaching qualification through the Foundation's Spurred 2 Coach programme.
After starting as a casual member of staff for the Foundation, Korey went part-time and is now full-time staff, helping to deliver the Foundation’s “Making Sport a Daily Habit” programme, which is designed to encourage people who are not usually active to incorporate exercise into their daily routine.
