The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Blank Gameweek 29 (BGW29) ahead of the deadline at 13:30 GMT on Saturday 16 March.
Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)
It's a straight shootout between Ivan Toney (£8.2m) and Son Heung-min (£10.0m). I prefer Toney's fixture at Burnley, but Son fresh off a big haul is hard to turn down.
Harry Daniels (@FPL_Harry)
Right now we are seeing Son back in the No 9 role and back to his best. However, Toney is playing the weakest defence, so it is between these two. Son currently has the armband.
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
Son's form is too good to ignore. Playing through the middle means he's been the focal point for a Tottenham Hotspur attack who have scored in every match so far this season.
Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)
Son is the standout captaincy option for BGW29 with him playing as centre-forward in a very attacking Spurs team who have most of their first-team players back.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
I am likely to give Son the armband. James Maddison (£8.0m) is a good option too. He has been really consistent away from home with 10 goal involvements in eight away matches. Ollie Watkins (£9.0m), providing he's passed fit after being forced off with a cut to his knee in Thursday's UEFA Europa Conference League win over Ajax, and Jarrod Bowen (£8.0m) are also great differential captains.
Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)
Son has to have the armband, particularly after his 17-point haul against Aston Villa.
Pras (@Pras_FPL)
Son seems the sensible choice. His ability to put away big chances is the best in the league. It's between him and Watkins, but I am inclined to back the South Korean.
