Two match officials have been promoted to Select Group 1 (SG1) for the 2024/25 Premier League season, PGMOL has confirmed.
Referee Sam Barrott and assistant referee Craig Taylor, who officiated in their first Premier League matches in 2023/24, have moved up from the Development Group.
Sam Barrott
Barrott (pictured above) has taken charge of 15 Premier League matches, all of which came last season, with his first coming on 7 October 2023 when he oversaw Fulham's encounter with Sheffield United.

Craig Taylor
Taylor, 33, has been an assistant referee in more than 200 matches over the past four years, including his Premier League debut when Tottenham Hotspur faced Brentford on 31 January 2024.
He assisted in two further top-flight matches last season: Burnley v AFC Bournemouth on 3 March and Crystal Palace against Aston Villa on 19 May.
