Eric Cantona went viral last week as the Premier League Hall of Famer appeared to storm off the set of Premier League Productions’ preview of Manchester United v Fulham, the opening match of the 2024/25 season.
Premier League fans in Africa and beyond were left stunned as the Man Utd legend and Premier League Hall of Fame inductee showed little interest in talking about the match with studio presenter Julia Stuart and fellow pundit Owen Hargreaves.
The iconic Frenchman then left his seat, ripped off his jacket and tie before addressing a camera with the words: “No game will need to be stuck to the wall because the revolution will not be televised. The revolution will be live and in your pocket.”
