Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly enjoyed a breakout performance in Sunday’s emphatic 5-1 win over Manchester City, capped off with his first goal for the club.
The 18-year-old scored the Gunners’ third goal and produced a display that belied his age, with Alan Shearer, the Premier League's record goalscorer, proclaiming the left-back has a really bright future.
Lewis-Skelly, who is keeping Riccardo Calafiori and Oleksandr Zinchenko out of Arsenal's starting line-up, is selected in Shearer's Matchweek 24 Team of the Week, alongside his team-mates David Raya and Declan Rice.
David Raya (Arsenal)
"Made some big saves in the first half and once again showed his quality against high-class opposition."
Ben Davies (Spurs)
"Was outstanding at the back for Tottenham Hotspur, keeping a clean sheet against a dangerous Brentford attack."
Djed Spence (Spurs)

Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal)
"Wow! What a future he has. A sensational performance capped off with his first goal for the club."
