Only three players have registered their first Premier League hat-trick in fewer appearances than Marmoush.
Fabrizio Ravanelli struck a hat-trick his on his debut for Middlesbrough on the opening day of the 1996/97 season. While Clive Mendonca (for Charlton Athletic in 1998/99) and Teemu Pukki (for Norwich City in 2019/20) did it on their second appearances.
Marmoush went alongside Pavel Pogrebnyak (Fulham 2011/12), Callum Wilson (AFC Bournemouth 2015/16) and Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa 2020/21) for doing so on their third appearance.
When he completed his hat-trick in the 33rd minute, it was the second-earliest into a Premier League match that a Man City player has scored a hat-trick, after Kevin De Bruyne did so in the 24th minute against Wolverhampton Wanderers in May 2022.
Marmoush also became the first City player to score his first three goals for the club in the Premier League after Paulo Wanchope against Sunderland in August 2000.
As for the shortest time taken to score a hat-trick for Man City, Marmoush’s 13 minutes and 54 seconds goes fourth behind Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Raheem Sterling.

On Marmoush, Man City manager Pep Guardiola said after the match: "Hopefully he can handle the biggest compliments, because they are coming.
"He's a player that we missed. His movements in behind; he's a guy that likes to attack the space."
Gonzalez impresses in midfield
Another player who caught the eye in Man City's win was Nico Gonzalez, the 23-year-old midfielder recently signed from Porto.
Guardiola says the Spaniard reminds him of Rodri, the injured Ballon d'Or winner whose void Gonzalez is trying to fill.
"The club bought an incredible player for the future," Guardiola said on Gonzalez.
"He was at Barcelona's academy; it's the best in the world at teaching passes, the body shapes. He reminds me of a mini Rodri.
"In his generation he's one of the best. Txiki [Begiristain, director of football] tried to bring him long ago into the academy but it was not possible because we had Fernandinho and Rodri."
Guardiola 'scared' by Haaland injury
One negative of Man City's win was top scorer Erling Haaland going off injured with a knee problem.
Guardiola now faces an anxious wait to see if the striker is fit for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League second-leg playoff match away against Real Madrid, whom City trail 3-2.
"When he went down everyone was scared but he stood up and walked off smiling," Guardiola revealed post-match.
"I didn't speak with him or the doctors, but the doctors haven't given me any bad news, so hopefully he will be fine."
