Beto (Everton)

The Everton forward was the Premier League’s second-highest scorer for February with five goals in as many matches. He began the month with a brace in a 4-0 win over Leicester City. He followed that up with the openers in the next three matches against Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Manchester United as the Toffees went unbeaten through February with two wins and three draws.

Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace)
P4 W3 D0 L1 G4 A1
The Frenchman enjoyed another excellent month in front of goal for Oliver Glasner’s side. Having been nominated for January’s award, Mateta picked up where he left off with both goals at Old Trafford in a 2-0 win over Man Utd. He then scored the equaliser against Everton, even if it was not enough to prevent a 2-1 loss. Mateta then provided an assist for Daniel Munoz to score in the win at Fulham before netting once more against Aston Villa in an emphatic 4-1 victory.

Yankuba Minteh (Brighton & Hove Albion)
P4 W3 D0 L1 G2 A1
The 20-year-old winger scored twice against Chelsea to earn the Seagulls an impressive 3-0 win, before providing an assist for Georginio Rutter in the 4-0 victory over Southampton. Minteh then helped the Seagulls towards a vital 2-1 victory over fellow European hopefuls AFC Bournemouth.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
P6 W4 D2 L0 G6 A4
Another record-breaking month for the Egyptian, who led the way in February for goal involvements, with 10. Salah started the month with both goals in the 2-0 win at Bournemouth, followed by strikes against Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Villa. He then starred in the 2-0 win over Manchester City, becoming the first Premier League player to score and assist in both matches against the reigning champions in a season. His assist for the second goal against Newcastle United was his 17th of 2024/25, two more than the record for a Liverpool player in a single Premier League season and three off the all-time mark for an entire campaign.

Djed Spence (Tottenham Hotspur)
P4 W3 D0 L1 G1 A0 CS2
The Spurs full-back impressed at both ends of the pitch during February. He helped Ange Postecoglou’s side keep successive clean sheets in wins over Brentford and Man Utd, before scoring his first Premier League goal for the club in a 4-1 victory at Ipswich Town.

Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool)
P6 W4 D2 L0 G2 A1
Another key player during the month for Liverpool, Szoboszlai helped Liverpool extend their lead at the top of the table thanks to two goals and an assist. He created the opener and scored the second in their 2-0 win at Man City and was again on target in the following match, as Newcastle were beaten by the same scoreline.
