A home encounter with Ipswich Town gives Daniel Munoz (£5.0m) the opportunity to immediately reward his growing band of owners in Fantasy Premier League.
The Crystal Palace wing-back is the most-bought player in Gameweek 28 ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 GMT deadline, transferred in by 220,000+ managers.
Those bringing in the defender should be aware that Palace are among the four clubs who DO NOT have a fixture in Blank Gameweek 29 (BGW29).
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah (£13.8m) retains the armband, with Cole Palmer (£11.1m) named as vice-captain.
West Ham United boss Graham Potter (£0.5m) is picked as Assistant Manager at home to Newcastle United.
Potter has guided his side to back-to-back wins and can collect table bonus against the Magpies, who are nine places above the Hammers in sixth position.

Filip Jorgensen (Chelsea) £4.2m
The Dane appears to have overtaken Robert Sanchez (£4.5m) as Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper, having started each of the last four Gameweeks. Jorgensen helped the Blues to a clean sheet at home to Southampton last time out and now faces another bottom-three opponent as Enzo Maresca’s side welcome Leicester City to Stamford Bridge.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) £7.4m
Liverpool’s right-back has established an 18-point advantage at the top of the defender standings in Fantasy thanks to his impact at both ends of the pitch. Ahead of his home meeting with Southampton, Alexander-Arnold has produced returns in seven successive league starts, combining five clean sheets with a goal and two assists.
Gabriel (Arsenal) £6.3m
A visit to Manchester United hands the Arsenal centre-back the chance to continue his fine run of away form. Gabriel has helped the Gunners claim three successive shutouts on the road, while all of his attacking returns this season – three goals and two assists – have come on his travels.
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace) £5.0m
The Eagles’ Colombian has a favourable home fixture against Ipswich on the back of his season-best run of attacking returns. Munoz’s strike against Millwall in the FA Cup last weekend means he has scored or assisted in six of Palace’s last seven matches across all competitions.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £13.8m
Liverpool’s Egyptian has blanked just ONCE at home all season, back in Gameweek 4 against Nottingham Forest. While that consistency ensures Salah retains the captaincy against Southampton, it’s also worth bearing in mind there is a possibility that his minutes may be managed ahead of a busy week for Arne Slot’s side. Liverpool have a midweek match with Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League prior to their EFL Cup final against Newcastle next weekend.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £11.1m
The Chelsea playmaker has been a huge disappointment of late, with just a single assist across his last six matches. Despite his blank against Southampton, Palmer had seven shots in the 4-0 win and remains a huge threat. At home this season, his 99 points are second only to the 109 points of Salah, showing why he is the major rival to the Egyptian for the armband in Gameweek 28.
Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford) £8.0m
The Brentford talisman ranks third for points at home this season, collecting 95 of them thanks to nine goals and three assists. Mbeumo faces an Aston Villa side who have struggled defensively on their travels in 2024/25 – Villa have conceded 27 goals in 13 away matches, the same number as Ipswich and only one fewer than Southampton.
Jarrod Bowen (West Ham) £7.4m
The midfielder has amassed 16 points in West Ham’s back-to-back wins over Arsenal and Leicester, thanks to a goal and an assist. Bowen can extend his run of influential displays against a Newcastle side who will be without key players at both ends of the pitch on Monday evening, with Lewis Hall (£5.0m) injured and Anthony Gordon (£7.4m) suspended.
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) £8.9m
His goal, assist and 12-point haul against Brentford in Gameweek 14 continued the Villa forward’s prolific record in recent meetings with his former club. Watkins has scored in each of his last three encounters with the Bees, producing four goals, an assist and 34 points.
Eddie Nketiah (Crystal Palace) £5.9m
Palace’s summer signing from Arsenal looks set to deputise for Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.5m) at home to Ipswich, with the Frenchman almost certain to be ruled out due to a head injury. Nketiah could be a great one-Gameweek option against Ipswich, who have conceded at least two goals in seven of their last eight league matches.
Beto (Everton) £5.0m
The forward has been a revelation for Everton since the recent return of David Moyes as manager. Beto heads to Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend having blanked just once over his last five matches, scoring five goals and collecting 37 points.
