West Ham United have announced that they have agreed terms with Bayer Leverkusen for the transfer of Javier Hernandez.
The 29-year-old striker will fly to London to finalise personal terms and undergo a medical to complete his return to the Premier League.
Also known as Chicharito, the Mexico international moved to Manchester United in 2010 and scored 13 PL goals in his debut season to help the Red Devils become champions.
He scored 37 goals in 103 matches for United, winning a second title in 2012/13.
Hernandez would become West Ham's third summer signing, following Pablo Zabaleta and Joe Hart, both from Manchester City.
Should he complete his move back to England, Hernandez will hope to make his PL debut for West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday, 13 August.
